The glue was crazy though and the drywall seams were a mess and there were a lot of other imperfections so I decided to just skim coat over it and then move on with priming/painting and such. However, the mud is PEELING. Wtf 😬 is it some reaction with the glue? Please help! Can I prime it to seal it then skim coat to smooth it out? I’ve never had drywall mud peel before. I also normally use a different joint compound but I went with this one this time though I doubt that’s the issue.
