This is a repost from the day I took over @TheTravelinBum’s InstaStory. I like their style of posting a personal blurb with each photo they share—in case you missed it, I wanted to repost it. I thought some of you might like to get some insights into my head. I do like to write and was thinking about share some writing of mine-- in the next few weeks over on the Patreon. Would you have any interest in ready any? (or should I just stick to pics?)

Here was my caption:
I was in massive denial of my being gay straight though high school; desperately clinging to my well-broadcast crush on @JenniferLoveHewitt. I had photos of her plastered all over my school binders and inside my locker making sure everyone knew I was straight.
I remember occasionally “stumbling” upon Gay porn on our family computer and scolding myself after watching it, always swearing I wouldn’t ever again. But I would—the next week, or the next night...or sometimes 5 minutes later.
My first inkling of my attraction to men came when I was about 6 while watching Beauty & the Beast. It was when Gaston ripped open to show off his hairy chest. I was very intrigued and couldn’t make sense of what I was feeling (my own Fun Home/“ring of keys” moment). Little did I know I would grow a similar hairy chest of my own. It is an odd and uniquely homosexual sensation to be what you are attracted to. We emulate what we deem to be attractive as a man, whilst also desiring just what it is you’re trying to be. A very literal definition of #SelfLove, something that we can probably all be better at.
While shoot on Fire Island with @Samdphotonyc he said, “Why don’t we try a few without the shorts?”
Off they came. Here are those shots without the shorts (Attached below). I like them, but this is one of there rare occasions where I think the ones with the shorts look better for some reason. Maybe it’s the color of them? Maybe it’s just that there have been so many naked shots of me lately, so one with at least a little clothes seems like change? 🤷🏻♂️ What do you think?
Sometimes behind the scenes of the shoots is a little less glamours than it looks in the final image. For example in that garden we were getting eaten alive by mosquitos. That I’m sure factors into my lack of enthusiasm of being short-less. I certainly didn’t want any bites on my...

In addition to VPL it has some VBL (in that a thing?) so the crop was necessary.
Vacation is fun, but a bit less so when you have to leave your best lil bud back at home 🐶 . I was doing a shoot at my apartment with @joeysbarrophotography and Lucca jumped up and into the pic. (puppy photobomb!). It ended up being such a cute pic of me and him.
I’m St. Louis bound today. I booked the trip literally just to see my all time favorite Broadway star, Beth Leavel, in her dream role: Momma Rose (Gypsy) at The Muny. (Talk about being a fan!). It is going to be epic! She was the star and won her Tony in my all time favorite show The Drowsy Chaperone.
Have any other suggestions/ recommendations for me while there?
This, by the way, is my adorable pup Lucca. He’s a rescue Cavalier/Bichon now 9 years old. I named him after a small city in Italy that I loved. I studied abroad in Florece and lived there for a few months. Would any of you care to see any young college-aged pics of GayGaston? If so I‘ll dig a few out for you for a future post.
These are from a shoot I did on Fire Island with @Samdphotography. Standing naked out on the deck certainly got the attention of the neighbors. I had a hard time deciding whether I liked the Black & White or Full Color versions of this shot—so here they both are for you. I also attached the alternative shot of this pose—it’s almost identical just with a little more of a smile 😏. Which do you like best: B&W? Color? Or better with the smirk?
