4 blocks from my house in front of the POLICE the throttle linkage broke, sending one carb to super high RPM’s and the other without any throttle, so the cops laughed and I nursed the car home. Apparently whoever assembled the carb linkage thought it would be okay to only have TWO threads of the ball bolt engage the aluminum hex rod! I’ll cut it in half tomorrow and weld an extension to the middle!
