I overall loved this photo. I realized when I was editing the photos from this session that the lens has really deteriorated over time and all the images from the shoot were so soft that they seemed almost out of focus. Unfortunately due to Covid, Canon support has been closed down and I've been unable to send it in for repairs. I've been very tempted over the past few months to just replace it with a brand new 35mm 1.4L mkii and call it an upgrade but dropping $2500 on a piece of glass during a pandemic and economic downturn doesn't seem like the wisest choice. But if anyone were to ever ask me what a great lens would be, I would 100% of the time recommend a a 35mm focal length. I could essentially do 90% of my work with that lens its such a workhorse.
