Upselling customs.
When a fan orders a custom they are getting the exact content that excites them. But! Imagine if while you were filming their content you got so turned on you filmed extra hot content that just for them as well!
Create extra content while creating the original custom. After your fan sees the custom and is happy, tell them that you shot some extra hot content. Offer them a good deal on the content, 75% or 50% off, (after all, they’ve already paid you once) this will make you fan feel special and its a great deal, so they are likely to buy.
You will be most successful with this strategy if you pay close attention to how your fans respond. The key is to get them curious, feeling special, and grateful, all at the same time. This is a winning combination for $$$.

Reposting old PPV.
OF makes it easy to copy the URL of any post from the past. If you post this link by itself or with a text message only, the preview of the linked post will show below.
Go through your old PPV posts occasionally and write a compelling new description, along with the link to the post. Fans will read it and either be curious, or fondly remember the post they purchased.
With the scheduling feature you can schedule as many post previews as you want, or save them for later and queue them automatically.
How often can I do this: It’s better to do this occasionally and schedule in blocks. Aim to do it once a month, or if you have a long history, schedule the whole year at once.
Will this annoy my fans: Only if you don’t post enough supplemental content in between.
Time commitment: Small.
Profit: High.
⭐Pro tip:
You can make a list of users that have already bought a certain PPV and exclude them from receiving it again so they don't double buy.
***additional strategy: you can also send out old PPV in mass messages by using the vault feature. This is particularly beneficial because when you open the image or video in your vault it will allow you to go to the post, so you can easily copy the already used text.
***OnlyFans has added the feature to 'forward' messages. You can resend any PPV to any list and schedule it for any time. Save yourself a lot of time by doing this rather than reposting from vault.
¬Additional tip: if you have 2 accounts, send copies of all your PPV to just yourself, then easily forward to any list from there.
Checking in with your top fans.
Your top fans are the people that spend the most on your page. One top fan could EASILY be worth 20 fans that buy once a month. This means you should do everything in your power to retain them.
One very easy way to do this is to contact then at least once a month and ask how they are doing. This simple gesture of caring will greatly increase your fan retention rate.
Set a reminder on your phone to check on your top fans at least once a month. You can find your top fans in your statistics page, under "Fans".
How often can I do this: as often as every day or infrequently as once a month.
A rule of thumb I use is if your fan is paying you $1,000+ a month, you should contact them every day. If they're paying $100+ a month, contact them at least once a week. If they've paid you a total of $100+ all time, send a message once a month.
*It must be a personal message not a mass message. You can copy and paste though.
Time commitment: Small.
Profit: Essential to long-term success.
Prize wheels.
Prize wheels can be a little controversial. Some forms are against TOS. The idea is that a fan tips you, then you use an app to spin a generated prize wheel and send the fan their prize.
The majority of top creators do this.
It is totally against the rules to offer free spins. That makes it gambling which is of course, illegal.
How often can I do this: generally you create one or several prize wheels, then pin them to your page and leave them.
Some creators do temporary prize wheels that they send in DMs.
Time commitment: generally pretty small. After initial setup you only have maintenance when someone tips. Save all your media rewards in a folder to make finding them quick and easy.
It is worth noting that the amount of work this takes can really build up on large accounts. Many top creators have assistants to run these.
Profit: if you offer good quality rewards and have a large following profits can be very high.
Random number generator
A cute twist on prize wheels, random number generators work similarly. The fan tips the required amount and you use a random number generator app to get the results. You can either have a prize chart with each number having a corresponding prize, or you can give them the winning number of media, say pictures or videos.
How often can I do this: I'd say monthly, but you could do it as a weekend thing weekly if you really wanted.
Time commitment: generally pretty small. After initial setup you only have maintenance when someone tips. Save all your media rewards in a folder to make finding them quick and easy.
It is worth noting that the amount of work this takes can really build up on large accounts. Many top creators have assistants to run these.
Profit: I've seen creators making thousands with these.

**Strategies:**
Posting paid content.
Most accounts post/send some amount of paid posts throughout their lifetime. It is a natural way to give your fans permanent access to your very best content, and only the worthy ones at that. Unfortunately there can be some downsides. Paid posts must remain permanently available on your page to attract new buyers, clogging up your feed and taking up real estate in your archive. If you have a high subscription price sending paid posts too frequently may make buyers feel like you aren’t giving them the full value on their membership.
You can make the whole post, specific attachments, or all text pay-to-view. Make at least one attachment free to allow fans a preview of what they are buying. Describe what buyers will get if they purchase the post. The more descriptive you are, the more likely fans will be tempted to buy.
If you plan to use paid posts frequently, create a posting schedule for yourself. Your fans will naturally get in the habit of buying on a schedule if you are consistent and reward their loyalty.
How frequently can I do this: Everyday.
Will this annoy my fans: Depends. If you are not providing high quality free content for your subscribers already, they may be annoyed by you asking them to purchase additional content.
Time commitment: A few minutes to make the paid post, plus time needed to create the content.
Profit: Immediate upon purchase. The bigger your audience, the more potential per post.
Using PPV messages.
Send messages and charge fans to view them. This strategy has the worst reputation, but your fans will love it if used correctly.
There are 2 separate strategies for using PPV messages.
1. Send media to individual fans you are chatting with, either as part of chatting, or just to offer them some special content you’re not posting on your main page. This includes customs, and can be quite lucrative. This has a low chance of annoying fans as long as you don’t send unsolicited.
2. Send mass PPV message to every fan, or fans on a specific list. This is a great way to deliver content you don’t want to post directly on your page, HOWEVER it is frequently abused by creators and may annoy all fans that don’t wish to purchase. If you intend to use mass PPV and you are not a free account, make sure to let your fans know what to expect.
How frequently can I do this: 1-2 times a week.
Will this annoy my fans: There is a high probability mass PPV messages will annoy some of your fans.
Time commitment: Brief plus content creation time.
Profit: Proportional to your following.
***Additional strategy: send half price PPV to your loyal customers only 1-3 times a week. This is a great way to resell old content to new buyers while giving your best and most interested customers a great deal. Everybody wins.
Post a picture or video of something healthy you are doing with your OF profits.
Your fans are investing in you, whether it be selfishly or to support you, seeing you taking care of yourself will make them feel good about spending money on you. Try posting a picture of the healthy smoothie you made, or a trip to the gym. Let your fans know you are using their money to improve yourself, and your fans will want to help. Try adding a tip goal to your post to fund a healthy project post, or post on other social media platforms to encourage new users to support your healthy efforts.
How frequently can I do this: Once every 2-4 weeks.
Will this annoy my fans: Highly unlikely.
Time commitment: A few minutes plus the healthy thing.
Profit: varies.
Customs.
Offer your fans content shot just for them at a higher price. Customs are typically at least twice the price of page content, and often contain personal touches like specific clothes, phrases, or poses that the fan requests.
It is generally good social hygiene to leave customs private. Unless a fan says it’s okay to post or share elsewhere, assume exclusivity is in the price tag.
It is a good practice to create a release stating what a fan can and can’t do with expensive or sensitive customs.
How frequently can I do this: As often as you have requests.
Will this annoy my fans: Highly unlikely.
Time commitment: Varies, but generally expect to put in a fair amount of work both in attracting the customer and in making the content.
Profit: High.
Going live.
There are a couple different ways you can profit from going live.
1. You can charge an entry fee to watch your live. This is the most straightforward way to profit.
2. You can play tip games on your live offering to take off items, previewing exclusive content, or showing off a trick for tips.
3. Set an RSVP fundraiser, and don’t do the live until the goal is reached.
4. Shoot exclusive content from before or after the live session and sell it to fans that wanted more.
5. Set a tip goal for the whole show, with multiple levels. At each level, take clothes off or perform a trick.
How often can I do this: It’s better to create a consistent schedule than go live as often as possible. Create a realistic schedule that allows you to go live week after week. 1-2 times per week max is what we recommend.
Will this annoy my fans: Not as long as you do what you say you will.
Time commitment: High.
Profit: Varies.
Customs in special locations.
Going somewhere specific? Offer to take customs for your fans while you’re in a special location like a fancy hotel or a trip to the park. Ask them to pledge a certain tip amount on your post in return for customs of a specific type later. i.e. “I’ll be at a nice hotel today. Tip this post $5 for a topless selfie when I get there, or $10 for a quick video.”
Not only does this strategy give your fans an opportunity for a unique and personal experience, when you deliver in a timely manner it will build trust and good standing with the fans that pledged.
How often can I do this: You can do this as often as you have the opportunity.
Will this annoy my fans: Unlikely.
Time commitment: Only what you get paid for.
Profit: High potential.
Free stuff, aka, wishlist.
In addition to all the ways you can profit on OF, you can also ask your fans to pay for stuff directly. This could be in the form of paying for food, buying items on your wishlists, or adopting a bill. All these options allow you to circumvent the 20% commission for OF, and taxes. Whenever possible ask fans to pay for things directly rather than sending you money for things.
Always remember to use common sense and safety. Don’t give out your address or any personal account information on any site.
How often can I do this: Varies by fanbase.
Will this annoy my fans: Only if you are pushy.
Time commitment: Varies.
Profit: High.
Fundraiser.
When creating a post you are given the option to create a fundraiser and set a goal for that post. Write a description of what you want to do with the collected funds, and offer incentives for contributing to increase contributions. i.e. “I want to travel to this beautiful location and create content. It costs $500. Tip contributions over $25 will receive a 3 image custom set. Tips over $50 will get a video. Every additional $5 adds 5 seconds to the video length. Happy tipping!” (feel free to copy our example)
You can do this for big or small fundraisers. It isn’t required to give a reward, but it increases tips.
You can also use this feature to raise money until you release a free set. i.e. “When we reach this goal I will shoot and release a new set for free on my page.” Or “Contributors to this goal will receive a set in their messages when we reach this goal.”
How often can I do this: It’s best to keep fundraisers for items to a couple per month, but you can have as many set release goals as you like.
Will this annoy my fans: If you repeatedly don’t make your goals your fans will stop contribution. Keep your goals very reasonable, so that rewards will always be sent.
Time commitment: Generally expect to put in a good amount of time to sending out rewards for contributions.
Profit: High.

This article covers both general advice and specific strategies used to get the most money from your fans, and potentially attract new ones.
This guide is written for adult content creators, but almost all advice can be applied to any type of OnlyFans creator.

Overview:
OnlyFans hereafter referred to as “OF” takes a 20% commission off every sale. On your page you will see your gross income and your net income.
Your gross income is the total of all your sales and paid interactions on OF. your total profit.
Your net income is your profit after OF takes their 20% commission. i.e. if your made $1000 in gross profit, you made $800 in net profit.
After you make a sale the money will be pending for a while. Do not worry about this, OF has already collected your money, they are just holding it to prevent expensive charge-backs if there is an issue. No one on my team has ever had an issue or a charge-back.
There are a few different ways you can profit from your OF account. Different account styles use a blend of these options to suit their needs.
Subscription:
Set the price to view your page from $5-$50, and users will have to pay to see your content. This is a monthly fee.
Paid Posts:
Make parts of any post without a fundraising goal for purchase, hiding the content from users until they pay. You can make images, videos, audio or all text hidden before purchase. Users that purchase access to the post will receive lifetime access to it unless deleted.
Tips:
Fans can tip you $3+ on any free post, message, or live. They can also tip you for purchased posts after purchase.
(Some fans and creators can tip $1, this is down by having money in your wallet.)
PPV Messages:
Set prices for media sent to fans individually or en mass. some accounts make all their profit with this model, hosting a free account with previews and sending all premium content to all fans.
Paid Live:
When you go live you have the option to set a price to join the stream. Many accounts use this method for profit, but currently the features don’t work with all devices. Members on our team have experienced difficulty using front and back cameras on some devices.
Referrals:
OF offers a 5% 1 year commission on all sales made by accounts you personally refer. The commission comes out of OF’s cut, and does not affect the creator. You should be prepared to offer full support for at least a year to anyone using your referral link. Remember you profit if they do. There are many lazy accounts that do not provide support to their team and their team suffers as a result. Building a good team is a time-intensive and rewarding task. The team leader puts in well over 15 hours a week providing resources and information for her team members, including maintaining and adding informational resources.
Third Party
There are a number of third party apps like Amazon that allow your fans to send you gifts and pay your bills. All these apps have rules and restrictions so read the TOS carefully before using them. OF prohibits asking users to send money outside of the app, but many users still do so. Use caution and be smart whenever interacting with users outside the protected confines of the site.
General Advice:
Most fans follow creators for a personal connection in addition to the content they create. Share snippets of your life and personality to let them naturally fall in love with you.
Be consistent. Your fans want to know they can rely on you. Create a general posting plan for your page and stick to it. If you tell a fan you’ll do something, do it. Consistency is the #1 key to building a successful page over time.
Good communication goes a long way towards making buyers feel confident about purchasing your work. Communicate clearly what buyers can expect from your page, and also personal interactions with you.
Unless you are a findom, always thank your fans for their contributions. This makes them feel noticed and appreciated so they’re more likely to buy in the future.
Define your brand. Whether you are producing art or hardcore content, your fans are going to want a cohesive experience that resonates with them. Try to define a general theme for your account and don’t switch more than once a month. If you are a cute princess, stick with it and don’t suddenly become a domineering master. Your fans follow you for a specific experience. If you do this well you will be able to attract many niche buyers.IN GENERAL niche buyers pay more because what they want takes specific thought. Even if your content is for a general audience, try to choose a few niches that make you unique.
